This is a "Rimfire" resin (sculpted by Pamela DeMuth of Thunderstruck Studio). He is a Traditional size gelding. I sanded & prepped him, then used primer. No alterations were made. I airbrushed him in gorgeous shades of golden palomino- creamy belly, with golden shading & highlights, metallic cast... truly stunning!!! Some details hand-painted. I gave him greyish brown shading on his muzzle, around his eyes, & in his groin area, & brown shading in his ears. He has off-white & white mixed mane & tail, to give it more depth & interest. His bold white blaze is flesh toned on the muzzle, & also has some "mapped" areas where the grey skin meets the white/flesh. As an added touch, he has a little grey spot on his upper lip. Nostrils have a touch of neutral pink inside. I gave him a white fetlock & a high sock, these legs have natural/shell striped hooves. The other legs have brown hooves. All hooves have lighter growth bands & greyish brown soles. He also has greyish-brown chestnuts. Eyes were done with the utmost care to produce realism & detail- teeny eyewhites, brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil, & glossed of course. Matte finished. This gelding was custom ordered by Caroline C. of Mississippi, who requested a golden palomino with a blaze, leaving leg markings & other details up to me :o). This is a Limited Edition "Mosey-On" resin (sculpted by myself! See Sculptures & Resins/Resins-to-Be....). He is about Stablemate size & is quite detailed (carved ears, frogs with cleft, chestnuts, wrinkles, gelding anatomy, etc.). I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This particular piece was the first one painted/ordered, so he is engraved with a numeral one. I airbrushed him to a very unusual color: a silver dun. Details hand-painted. He is shaded grey with brown points & primitive markings. His groin & inner ears are shaded with brown, eartips darker. His mane & tail are mixed browns. The dorsal stripe & leg barring were done carefully by hand. His nostrils have a touch of neutral pink. I painted his chestnuts & soles a greyish-tan, his hooves dark brown. His eyes are "amber", a lighter brown iris with darker rim & black pupil, glossed. Matte finished. This gelding was custom ordered by my husband Nick, who chose this color because it was unique :o). {I think it was just to make things tough on me ;o). Just kidding! I like to do unusual colors & markings.} To see more pix of this guy, please click the image below....

L.E. "Mosey-On" resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This one was the sixth piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral six. I airbrushed him in beautiful shades of golden palomino, details hand-painted. He has greyish brown shading on his muzzle, around his eyes, on his eartips/edges, & in his groin area. He has off-white & white mixed mane & tail. He has a white strip on his face, & one white sock with a natural/shell mixed hoof. Other 3 hooves are brownish-grey, with lighter growth-bands. Greyish-tan chestnuts & soles. Inner nostrils are neutral pink. His eyes are detailed, with brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes & nostrils glossed. This is an "Artist's Choice" color (not ordered in this color/pattern). No longer available for sale/trade, Vanessa V. of North Carolina has decided to buy him! See more of him, click below please!

Note about Mosey-On orders: Due to the limited run of this resin & the fact that color possibilities are nearly endless for a stock-type horse, I do not plan on repeating colors I have already painted on him. I *may* make exceptions if Mosey is to be used as a portrait model of your real horse, but I won't guarantee it. Get your requests in quick if you wish to get a certain color! :o)
Also, in case you haven't been to Mosey-On's
page to read it by now :o), I will reiterate my policies here: None of Yvonne's resins are
to be changed in any way. Painted pieces must not be repainted, altered, etc. Unfinished
pieces (if any) must not be altered (no repositioning etc).
L.E. "Mosey-On" resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This one was the eleventh piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral eleven. I airbrushed him to a golden dun with slight metallic cast...a buckskin color but with primitive markings. Details hand-painted. He has dark eartips/edges/inner ears, muzzle, & groin; brown shading on ears, forehead, upper legs, & dorsal. His stockings & mane/tail are near black/black. Dorsal stripe & leg barring are dark brown. All hooves are very dark brownish grey & have lighter growth bands. His chestnuts & soles are (slightly greyish) tan. Inner nostrils are neutral pink. He has detailed "amber" eyes- tiny eyewhites (off-white), a lighter brown iris with darker rim & black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes glossed, nostrils & hooves semi-glossed. He is an "Artist's Choice" color (not ordered in this color/pattern). Now owned by Christy F. of Mississippi, who asked about a Buckskin Mosey the day after this guy was completed, before anyone knew he existed! Fate?! Please click the image below to see more pix.

This is a "Rimspark" resin (sculpted by Pamela DeMuth of Thunderstruck Studio), which is a Stablemate size gelding. Alterations were made by myself per request of the customer. It is now a mare, complete with teats. The mane has been resculpted to look like a reining horse's: long & flowing. I had to resculpt the tail to give it the same style as the mane. For my own piece of mind ;o) - & the owner much appreciates it - I added chestnuts, & redefined the hooves & (re?)carved the frogs. I sanded & prepped, then used primer before painting. I airbrushed this mare to a striking red dun, with golden belly & undertones & red shading. Details hand-painted. She has a darker redbrown mixed mane & tail, legs, & eartips/edges. There is brownish grey shading on her muzzle, groin, & subtly around her eyes. She has dark redbrown primitive markings (leg barring, ear barring, pronounced dorsal stripe). Her front hooves are dark brownish grey. She has white socks with natural/shell hooves on the rear legs. All hooves have lighter growth/coronary bands. Soles & chestnuts are greyish tan. Her inner nostrils are neutral pink. She has a small "feathered" star on her forehead: it swirls with the hair growth. Her "amber" eyes are detailed with slight eyewhites, lighter brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Clear-coat protected, matte finish, eyes & inner nostrils glossed, hooves semi-glossed. In addition, this little mare sports handmade horseshoes (also by myself) which I fitted exclusively for her & mounted on all her hooves. Then I dotted silver nailtips on the side of her hooves where the nails would come through. Owned by Andrea C. of Wisconsin. Please click on her pic to see more!
