Raja
Our firstborn "baby"
Raja is a TICA registered domestic Bengal. Not to be confused with an Ocicat, Bengals actually have wild cats (Asian Leopard Cat) in their breeding & differ from domestic shorthairs in more ways than just the spotted coat. We brought Raja into our family when he was a kitten & we immediately bonded. His personality is so unique & he is very loving, probably to make up for all the trouble he gets into! He is beautiful, with a sleek spotted tawny "pelt" (as Bengal coats are often called) that feels softer than your typical domestic feline! Although stubborn (which cat isn't?!), he is very intelligent & will even wear a harness & lead. Raja acts more like a dog than a cat in a lot of ways. He is confident, outgoing & extremely social. He is often the first to greet a guest in our home, & thoroughly check them out if it's a stranger! He sleeps on the bed, often under the covers. If we leave the house (especially "mom"), or otherwise "leave" him, he yowls his dismay. He can be quite vocal, & his voice is loud! He is simply spoiled rotten! He thinks he rules the roost....
Please note: Raja is NOT left outdoors unattended!!! He is an indoor cat & only let outside with supervision.
