This is another Limited Edition "Mosey-On"  resin.  I sanded, prepped, then used primer.  This one was the second piece ordered/painted, so he is engraved with the numeral two. I airbrushed him to a shaded mahogany bay no-spot blanket appaloosa, details hand-painted.  Besides the blanket pattern, he has Appaloosa breed characteristics such as mottling in the groin area, subtly on muzzle & around eyes, all his hooves are boldly striped with various colors. I gave him a white stripe down face, snip mottled. I had fun with his markings: unique white fetlock on left foreleg, with black spot on pastern & ermine mark; white coronet on right foreleg, with ermine marks; white mark/spot on left rear coronary band; white coronet on right rear leg extending to fetlock behind, with black spot & ermine mark.  He has greyish brown soles & chestnuts. His eyes are detailed with the appy characteristic white sclera, brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Finished with satin protective sealer, eyes & nostrils glossed.  This guy is a beauty!  Custom ordered by Rachel D. of Minnesota, who asked for a bay appy with anything from a star to a thin blaze, just a bit of white on the feet, & a "little flakey no spot blanket"... just a basic feel to go on- she wanted my "artistic touch to it".  So that is what I did :o) . This is another L.E. Mosey-On"  resin.  I sanded, prepped, then used primer.  This one was the third piece ordered/painted, so he is engraved with the numeral three.  I airbrushed him to a shaded mahogany bay- red with golden undertones & very dark shading. Details hand-painted.  He has three white socks with natural/shell mixed hooves, the black leg has a brownish grey hoof.  He sports a cute blaze to his upper lip, which has pink tinting on the muzzle area.  He has dark eartips, shading around eyes, muzzle, & groin.  His  soles & chestnuts are greyish brown.  His nostrils have a touch of neutral pink.  Of course the eyes are detailed with brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil.  Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes & nostrils glossed. What an eye-catching little guy!  Custom ordered by Kim C. of Delaware, who asked for a "rich darkish bay" with three socks & a blaze to the upper lip.  Click the pic below to see more of him....

This is a L.E. "Mosey-On"  resin.  I sanded, prepped, then used primer.  This one was the fourth piece ordered/painted, so he is engraved with the numeral four. I airbrushed him to a shaded black (for depth), details hand-painted. He has a star that is partially covered by his forelock- note the wispy hairs that fall into it :o).   His snip between his nostrils is grey & pink. He has three white socks with natural/shell mixed hooves, the solid leg has a brownish grey/dark mixed hoof. All hooves glossed for the showring. His  soles & chestnuts are greyish brown.  His nostrils have a touch of neutral pink.  Of course the eyes are detailed, with brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil.  Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes & nostrils glossed. Custom ordered by Beth B. of Missouri, who requested a black with star, snip, & three socks. Please click the image below to see more angles...

Yet another L.E. "Mosey-On"  resin :o). I sanded, prepped, then used primer.  This one was the fifth piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral five. I airbrushed him to what I originally intended to be a sandy bay Overo paint, but as I increased the color of the points towards black...well, I liked them dark brown! So at a glance he looks sandy bay or dark Buckskin, but he is really a dark Yellow Dun since he does not have black legs. So I added something I hadn't planned on: a dorsal stripe, which I airbrushed as well! He also has brown-tipped/edged ears & brown shading in his groin. I hand-painted the white areas with care to avoid unwanted brushstrokes, as usual. His white spots have subtle mapping along the edges. He has a white baldface which extends over one eye, around which is a subtle well blended pink shade demonstrating the thin hair in that area. He also has that same trait on his muzzle where the white covers it, but a greyish color on the right where the white is not, where the skin would be darker. In addition, he sports a grey spot at his upper lip, where there is pigmented "skin". Since the white extends so close to his ears, I decided to allow some white hairs to "grow" into his forelock. He has one stocking, with a natural/shell striped hoof. His other hooves are dark brownish grey/dark striped. His soles & chestnuts are greyish-tan. Inner nostrils are neutral pink. Eyes are detailed, but a twist this time: His right eye is brown with the black iris, but his left is a light blue with dark iris, since the area is "unpigmented". Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes & nostrils glossed.  This is an "Artist's Choice"  color (not ordered in this color/pattern). Please click his pic below to see more of him....

L.E. "Mosey-On"  resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer.  This one was the sixth piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral six. I airbrushed him in beautiful shades of golden palomino, details hand-painted. He has greyish brown shading on his muzzle, around his eyes, on his eartips/edges, & in his groin area. He has off-white & white mixed mane & tail. He has a white strip on his face, & one white sock with a natural/shell mixed hoof. Other 3 hooves are brownish-grey, with lighter growth-bands. Greyish-tan chestnuts & soles. Inner nostrils are neutral pink. His eyes are detailed, with brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes & nostrils glossed. This is an "Artist's Choice"  color (not ordered in this color/pattern). No longer available for sale/trade, Vanessa V. of North Carolina has decided to buy him! See more of him, click below please!

L.E. "Mosey-On"  resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This one was the seventh piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral seven. I airbrushed him in white, everything else was hand-painted. He is a patterned leopard Appaloosa, with lots of breed characteristics. He has pink tinting where the skin would show through the thin white hair (i.e. muzzle, eyes, girth area, flanks, groin), & mottling in those areas as well. His appy patterns are various degrees of brown (some nearly black), & many are halo spots. His hooves are natural/shell colored & boldly striped. A few ermine marks are on a couple of coronets. He has a multi-colored mane & tail (whites, greys, browns, blacks). Chestnuts & soles of his hooves are a greyish tan. Inner nostrils are neutral pink, ears are shaded with grey. His eyes are detailed with the appy distinctive white sclera, brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes & nostrils glossed. This is an "Artist's Choice"  color (not ordered in this color/pattern). No longer available for sale/trade- he is going home to Jan P. of Minnesota! L.E. "Mosey-On"  resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This one was the eighth piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral eight. I airbrushed him to a lovely shaded sorrel, with golden undertones, dark shading, & a metallic sheen all over. Looks stunning in person! He has darker shading on his muzzle, around eyes, eartips/edges, & groin, very dark shading on sheath. His mane & tail are flaxen, with multiple colors painted in to look more interesting & less flat like flaxens are often painted. This guy has lots of chrome! He has a wide blaze that extends to his upper lip, pink tinting between nostrils, mapping along his blaze on the muzzle. He has four white socks & natural/shell striped/mixed hooves. His chestnuts & soles are greyish-tan. Inner nostrils are neutral pink. Eyes have the usual detail: slightest hint of eyewhites, brown iris rimmed in dark brown (almost Amber eyes), black pupil. Finished with glossy protective sealer (can be made matte if new owner requests, I just felt the gloss brought out the metallic cast). Eyes glossed. This is an "Artist's Choice"  color (not ordered in this color/pattern). No longer available for sale/trade, Lorre P. (who reserved an A.C. color) has chosen him! She has requested he be matted down a bit, so he is no longer quite as glossy. Please click pic to see more (of the glossy & current finish too)!

This is a "Kitten Chow" resin (sculpted by Candace Liddy). He is Stablemate size Zebra colt. He was already prepped & primered from Candy. No alterations were made. I painted him in a combination of airbrush & hand. His off-white body & tan shading were airbrushed. Everything else was hand-painted. His stripes are near black on the face & mane, brown on the neck, fade into his back. He has a brown dorsal stripe that fades into his white tail. His muzzle is a dark brownish grey, with darker nostrils & slight lip-line shading (to bring out his mouth detail). He has tannish grey hooves, light grey genitalia, greyish tan chestnuts & soles. Eyes are detailed with brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes highly glossed. This guy represents an old-style Quagga. Custom ordered by Rachel D. of Minnesota, who asked me to paint it as such. Lots more pictures, click the image below for more!

L.E. "Mosey-On"  resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This one was the ninth piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral nine. I airbrushed him to a very light grey (white with light grey shading), & added brown "flea-bites". He has grey shading in inner ears, dark  grey shading on his muzzle & groin, brownish grey shading on knees & hocks. His mane & tail are dark grey multi-colored.  He has one "true" white sock on his left rear leg, with natural/shell hoof. The other legs are light/white with dark brownish grey hooves. All hooves have lighter growth bands. His chestnuts & soles are greyish-tan. Inner nostrils are neutral pink. His eyes are detailed with subtle eyewhites, brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes glossed, nostrils & hooves semi-glossed. This flea-bitten grey is an "Artist's Choice"  color (not ordered in this color/pattern). No longer available for sale/trade, he is proudly owned by Jennifer G. of Minnesota! L.E. "Mosey-On"  resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This one was the tenth piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral ten. I airbrushed him to a red bay with golden undertones & darker shading. Details hand-painted. Face markings include a combination of a small white star (partially covered by his forelock), white strip (pink tinting nearing muzzle), & pink off-set snip from one nostril to lower lip. Strip & snip have subtle mapping. He has a unique white sock with black spot & ermine marks, & a white coronet with ermine marks. These legs have natural/shell striped hooves. The other two hooves are dark brownish grey. All hooves have lighter growth bands. He has dark eartips/edges, muzzle, & groin. His chestnuts & soles are (slightly greyish) tan. Inner nostrils are neutral pink. His eyes are detailed with tiny eyewhites, brown iris rimmed in dark brown/black, black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes glossed, nostrils & hooves semi-glossed. A customer requested a mahogany bay with these markings, however I did not want to duplicate a color, so we agreed to a different shade of bay...which resulted in this red bay. He turned out to be a real looker! Please click his pic to see more!

Note: This piece is available for sale, as the trade deal was not completed. Please ask if interested in him!

Note about Mosey-On orders: Due to the limited run of this resin & the fact that color possibilities are nearly endless for a stock-type horse, I do not plan on repeating colors I have already painted on him.  I *may* make exceptions if Mosey is to be used as a portrait model of your real horse, but I won't guarantee it. Get your requests in quick if you wish to get a certain color! :o)

Also, in case you haven't been to Mosey-On's page to read it by now, I will reiterate my policies here: None of Yvonne's resins are to be changed in any way. Painted pieces must not be repainted, altered, etc. Unfinished
pieces (if any) must not be altered (no repositioning etc).

L.E. "Mosey-On"  resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This one was the eleventh piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral eleven. I airbrushed him to a golden dun with slight metallic cast...a buckskin color but with primitive markings. Details hand-painted. He has dark eartips/edges/inner ears, muzzle, & groin; brown shading on ears, forehead, upper legs, & dorsal. His stockings & mane/tail are near black/black. Dorsal stripe & leg barring are dark brown. All hooves are very dark brownish grey & have lighter growth bands. His chestnuts & soles are (slightly greyish) tan. Inner nostrils are neutral pink. He has detailed "amber" eyes- tiny eyewhites (off-white), a lighter brown iris with darker rim & black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes glossed, nostrils & hooves semi-glossed. He is an "Artist's Choice"  color (not ordered in this color/pattern). Now owned by Christy F. of Mississippi, who asked about a Buckskin Mosey the day after this guy was completed, before anyone knew he existed! Fate?! Please click the image below to see more pix.

This is the Breyer Stablemate scale "Scrambling Foal" mold (I call it "frolicking"). Seams & Breyer mark removed, sanded, hooves & all frogs carved, ears resculpted & carved, chestnuts added, filly anatomy etc sculpted, mane altered slightly, tail raised. I hand painted her to a neutral grey & white. I then carefully etched each hair into the grey areas, allowing the white undercoat to show through (this is my first "etchie"). I painted her mane & tail a mix of grey, dark grey, & black...with a bit of white in her mane at the withers. I painted black appaloosa spots on her rump...pinto & appy patterns together make this little gal a "Pintaloosa". She has a cute wispy star, where the white follows the direction of the hair on her forehead. Her legs are white, with natural/shell striped hooves. She has mottling on the groin area, under her tail, & on her tailbone. Chestnuts & soles are tan. Her inner nostrils are light pink. Her eyes are detailed with the appy characteristic white sclera, brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes glossed. L.E. "Mosey-On"  resin. This particular piece was to be a portrait model of the customer's real horse, so I needed to make some necessary alterations. This included a gender change (it is now an anatomically correct mare), and resculpted mane & tail, all to reflect that of her living counterpart. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This resin was the twelfth piece painted, so she is engraved with the numeral twelve. I airbrushed her to a shaded bay. Roaning & other details hand-painted. The roan areas were placed as precise as possible, to match pictures provided of the real horse "Miss Chief Two Deck" , a beautiful Appaloosa (click here to see the real mare). Even the mottling pattern (dark grey & flesh/pink) on her muzzle, udder, & under her tail was reproduced as well as I could from photos presented! I noticed "Missy" had a darker/smutty area around her withers & on her eartips/edges, & a creamy-tan color at her armpits & in front of her udder...I made sure to include those on her portrait. Her mane & tail are black with white hairs...again painted like the real horse. Her legs are black, chestnuts & soles are (slightly greyish) tan. She has dark grey & flesh striped hooves...not very many pix to go from but I did my best to duplicate that as well! Her eyes are detailed with the Appaloosa's trademark white sclera, brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Clear-coat protected, matte finish, eyes glossed, nostrils & hooves semi-glossed. The very happy owner is Jamie S. of Washington. Click on "Missy" below to see more pix of her!

This is a "Rimspark" resin (sculpted by Pamela DeMuth of Thunderstruck Studio), which is a Stablemate size gelding. Alterations were made by myself per request of the customer. It is now a mare, complete with teats. The mane has been resculpted to look like a reining horse's: long & flowing. I had to resculpt the tail to give it the same style as the mane. For my own piece of mind ;o) - & the owner much appreciates it - I added chestnuts, & redefined the hooves & (re?)carved the frogs. I sanded & prepped, then used primer before painting. I airbrushed this mare to a striking red dun, with golden belly & undertones & red shading. Details hand-painted. She has a darker redbrown mixed mane & tail, legs, & eartips/edges. There is brownish grey shading on her muzzle, groin, & subtly around her eyes. She has dark redbrown primitive markings (leg barring, ear barring, pronounced dorsal stripe). Her front hooves are dark brownish grey. She has white socks with natural/shell hooves on the rear legs. All hooves have lighter growth/coronary bands. Soles & chestnuts are greyish tan. Her inner nostrils are neutral pink. She has a small "feathered" star on her forehead: it swirls with the hair growth. Her "amber" eyes are detailed with slight eyewhites, lighter brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Clear-coat protected, matte finish, eyes & inner nostrils glossed, hooves semi-glossed. In addition, this little mare sports handmade horseshoes (also by myself) which I fitted exclusively for her & mounted on all her hooves. Then I dotted silver nailtips on the side of her hooves where the nails would come through. Owned by Andrea C. of Wisconsin. Please click on her pic to see more!

"Kickin' It Up", soon-to-be limited edition resin; a Traditional scale frolicking Arabian colt, designed & made by myself. Details include carved ears, frogs with cleft & bars on all hooves, chestnuts, wrinkles, colt anatomy, slightly flared nostrils, whisker bumps/follicles on muzzle, etc. This is the original piece (after improvements) that I painted in a rush to complete in time for a large NAMHSA approved live show. He is airbrushed to a simple but beautiful mahogany red bay with golden undertones & dark shading. Details painted by hand. Black mane & tail (with a bit of brown sneaking through) & stockings. He has dark/black shading on eartips/edges/inner ears, around eyes & muzzle, under tail, & on sheath/groin area. His chestnuts & soles are tan. He has dark brownish grey hooves with lighter growth/coronary bands. His inner nostrils are a light neutral pink. Detailed eyes: very thin eyewhites, brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil with a touch of blue. Matte finished, eyes & inner nostrils glossed. Click on KIU's picture to see more please!
