This is a Breyer Stablemate scale "Native Dancer" model repainted by hand. In addition to sanding the seams, removing the Breyer stamp, & refining the mold, the ears & hooves were carved to look more realistic. She is a very dark bay/brown (with just a very subtle touch of metallic) Turkoman mare with 3 white socks & a blaze, plus detailed & glossed eyes. Her muzzle is tinted a flesh color where her blaze runs into it, her hooves are a striped shell/natural color on the white legs, dark brown/black on the black leg. Matte finished. She actually has black points & shading but it just won't show up too well. She looks much better in person! Please click on the image below to see additional pix.

This is the Breyer Stablemate scale "Morgan Mare" mold. I sanded the seams & removed the Breyer mark, carved her ears (& made them a bit shorter, & equal length!), nostrils, face, muzzle, chin, jowl, hooves, heels, & frogs. I also re-defined the legs, mouth, & mane area, carved between her rear legs (too much excess plastic, IMO), & added teats. She is a now pretty mahogany bay mare, with red highlights & darker shading, completely painted by hand. Her black legs blend naturally into her body, as does her dark brownish-grey muzzle. She has two white socks & one white pastern, each with a shell colored hoof. Her solid leg has a dark grey hoof. She sports a blaze with just a hint of flesh near the nose. Her nostrils show a touch of neutral pink, her eyes are carefully detailed with pupil, iris, ultra thin eyewhite, & just a tiny touch of a reflection, & then glossed. Matte finished. Intended for sale, please inquire.... Note: she is not glossy like the pictures show! See more by clicking on pic....

This is a Traditional scale frolicking colt designed & made by me (initially in one form circa 1996, & then this piece in 1999). He sports carved ears, frogs & bars, slightly flared nostrils, correct colt anatomy & more! I airbrushed the original here into a beautiful shaded bay, painting the details by hand. He has three white socks with natural/shell striped hooves, the black leg has a dark hoof. All hooves have lighter growth bands. He has a large white star, & a snip that has a hint of pink. His inner nostrils show a bit of muted flesh tone. The eyes are detailed with dark iris, black pupil, & thin eyewhites, & glossed. Matte finished. This colt is truly stunning! Please click on the image below to see more pix of this guy! He will eventually be offered as a very limited edition in resin, "Kickin It Up". Too bad that will likely mean this one's paint job will be destroyed :o(.

This is a L.E. Mosey-On" resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This one was the third piece ordered/painted, so he is engraved with the numeral three. I airbrushed him to a shaded mahogany bay- red with golden undertones & very dark shading. Details hand-painted. He has three white socks with natural/shell mixed hooves, the black leg has a brownish grey hoof. He sports a cute blaze to his upper lip, which has pink tinting on the muzzle area. He has dark eartips, shading around eyes, muzzle, & groin. His soles & chestnuts are greyish brown. His nostrils have a touch of neutral pink. Of course the eyes are detailed with brown iris rimmed in dark brown, black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes & nostrils glossed. What an eye-catching little guy! Custom ordered by Kim C. of Delaware, who asked for a "rich darkish bay" with three socks & a blaze to the upper lip. Click the pic below to see more of him....

L.E. "Mosey-On" resin. I sanded, prepped, then used primer. This one was the tenth piece painted, so he is engraved with the numeral ten. I airbrushed him to a red bay with golden undertones & darker shading. Details hand-painted. Face markings include a combination of a small white star (partially covered by his forelock), white strip (pink tinting nearing muzzle), & pink off-set snip from one nostril to lower lip. Strip & snip have subtle mapping. He has a unique white sock with black spot & ermine marks, & a white coronet with ermine marks. These legs have natural/shell striped hooves. The other two hooves are dark brownish grey. All hooves have lighter growth bands. He has dark eartips/edges, muzzle, & groin. His chestnuts & soles are (slightly greyish) tan. Inner nostrils are neutral pink. His eyes are detailed with tiny eyewhites, brown iris rimmed in dark brown/black, black pupil. Finished with protective sealer, matte finish, eyes glossed, nostrils & hooves semi-glossed. To be owned by Cassie T. of New Jersey, who requested a Mahogany Bay with these markings. I did not want to do another Mosey-On in mahogany bay, so the customer agreed to a different shade of bay...which resulted in red bay. He turned out to be a real looker! Note about Mosey-On orders: Due to the limited run of this resin & the fact that color possibilities are nearly endless for a stock-type horse, I do not plan on repeating colors I have already painted on him. I *may* make exceptions if Mosey is to be used as a portrait model of your real horse, but I won't guarantee it. Get your requests in quick if you wish to get a certain color! :o)
Also, in case you haven't been to Mosey-On's
page to read it by now :o), I will reiterate my policies here: None of Yvonne's resins are
to be changed in any way. Painted pieces must not be repainted, altered, etc. Unfinished
pieces (if any) must not be altered (no repositioning etc).
